Cork Guitar Lessons September 2018 Newsletter

Welcome to Cork Guitar Lessons first ever newsletter.

I hope to write a newsletter at the Cork Guitar Lessons Beginner Certificatestart of every term so that students and parents of younger students can keep up to date with developments.

Positive Changes

We are back into the school routine again and, dare I say it, I quite enjoy it!

Summer was a time of retrospection for me with regards to Cork Guitar Lessons and I’m happy to report many positive changes. Some of these are;

  • A new dedicated private lesson room (No more box room lessons!!)
  • Twice yearly concerts for students
  • Certificates when certain levels are reached
  • Prizes
  • Sign a Friend competition
  • and many other things which are currently being discussed with management (ie my wife)

At the end of last term I handed out certificated to those who completed the full term. Next week, however, I am looking forward to issuing the first Beginner Guitar Certificates to those who can pass the test.

New Guitars

Aldi has several guitars in stock. These include 36″ and 39″ nylon string classical guitars as well as a larger 41″ steel string acoustic guitars.

I would recommend nylon string guitars for beginners as nylon strings are softer on the fingers than steel strings.

You can view the guitars here.

Help Cork Guitar LessonsĀ Amazon Guitar Lessons

You have probably noticed that I have tried to keep guitar lessons as cheap as possible. to date.

However with some of the positive changes mentioned above a larger outlay of money is required in order to run the business successfully so that students can receive the greatest benefits.

With this is mind you can support Cork Guitar Lessons and keep lesson prices down at the same time by buying through Amazon.co.uk

The premise is simple in that you purchase the product that you were going to buy anyway but purchase it through an Amazon link on this website.

Your purchase will not be affected in any way but I get a small commission from your purchase. Hopefully over time I will be able to generate enough commissions to keep the guitar lesson prices as they currently are.

Thank You

In closing I want to say a big Thank You for all the support so far. I’m working hard to make Cork Guitar Lessons the best it can be.

Rock On!!

Ps Don’t forget to check out the Cork Guitar Lessons Blog frequently as I plan to start posting more articles on guitar playing and other music topics as time permits. The Cork Music Resource Guide is also a must read.
